Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly when you request a quote, submit a form, call, text, or email us. That typically includes:
- Name, phone number, email address, and mailing address
- Date of birth, gender, and general health information such as tobacco use and prescribed medications
- Information needed to evaluate coverage, such as beneficiary details, household income range, or mortgage balance
- Records of our communications with you, including call recordings, text messages, and emails
We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
How we use your information
- To respond to your request and determine what coverage you may qualify for
- To submit applications to insurance carriers on your behalf, with your authorization
- To contact you by phone, text, or email about your inquiry and your policy
- To service existing policies and provide ongoing customer support
- To meet legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations
Text messaging and your mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
If you provide your phone number and consent to receive text messages, we may send you messages related to your inquiry, your application, and your coverage. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP. Opting out of text messages does not remove you from phone or email contact unless you tell us to stop those as well.
Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of purchasing any product or service.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to do the work you asked us to do:
- Insurance carriers and underwriters, to obtain quotes and submit applications you authorize
- Service providers that operate our systems, such as our customer relationship management and communications platforms, under obligations to protect your information
- Legal and regulatory authorities, when required by law, subpoena, or a governing insurance department
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.
How long we keep information
We retain records for as long as needed to service your policy and to satisfy insurance recordkeeping requirements, which in many states extend for several years after a policy ends.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted transmission and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- Text messages: reply STOP to any message
- Email: use the unsubscribe link, or reply asking to be removed
- Phone: ask to be placed on our internal do-not-call list
- Access or deletion: email lehnbhrt@lebhrt.org to request a copy of your information or ask us to delete it, subject to the recordkeeping requirements above
Children
This site is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent version.
